Front Page Settings #

You can access the Front page settings via Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Posts and Pages > Front Page Settings.

Banner Section #

Banner Options: You can either choose to display the banner as a slider or display the search form on the banner section or disable the banner section on the homepage.

Slider Content Style: The premium plugin provides you with the option to display recipes belonging to a specific recipe taxonomy on the banner slider.

Banner as Search #

The following are the Banner section setting available when you choose to display the Banner as Search:

Add header image: You can upload one or more banner image by clicking on the “Add new image” button.

Randomize uploaded headers: If you upload multiple banner image then clicking on the “Randomize uploaded headers” button will display different banner image, each time you load the site homepage.

Title: You can enter the banner title here.

Description: You can add the description text for the banner.

Popular Categories: You can select the recipe categories that you want to display as tags on the Banner section via this option.

Recipe Categories #

This front page section allows you to highlight the post categories or the recipe categories you have created for your blog.

Display Categories from: You can either choose to display the general posts categories or the recipe posts categories.

Choose Categories: Here, you can select the post or recipe categories on your website that you want to highlight on the Recipe Categories section.

Featured Area #

As the name suggests, the Featured Area section can be used to feature some of the specific posts or recipes on your website that you think are a must read for your site readers.

The following are the settings available under the Featured Area section:

Show Featured Area: Enable this option to display the Featured Area section on the homepage.

Section Title: Enter the title for the Featured Area section.

Section Description: Enter the description text for the Featured Area section.

Tabs: You can display a maximum of four tabs for the Featured Area section. Click on each of the listed tab items to configure the content for the respective tab.

Background Color: Here you can choose a background color for the Featured Area section.

Tab Label Font Size: Select a font-size value for the Tab menu items.

Featured Tab #

Show Featured Tab: Enable this option to show the Featured Tab on the Featured Area section.

Featured Tab Label: Enter the label for the Featured Tab.

Content Type: You can choose to display your site posts or recipes or add your own custom content inside Featured Tab.

Depending on the Content Type you choose, you can now click on the Add new button to select the posts or recipes or add the custom content you want to highlight inside the Featured Tab.

Popular Tab #

Show Popular Tab: Enable this option to show the Popular Tab on the Featured Area section.

Popular Tab Label: Enter the label for the Popular Tab.

Content Type: You can choose to display your site posts or recipes inside the Popular Tab.

Display Based On: You can choose to display the posts based on their view count or comment count or choose to display any random post inside the Popular Tab.

Duration: You can choose to display the posts published within the selected timeframe.

Number Of Posts: Select the total number of posts you want to display inside the Popular Tab.

Latest Tab #

Show Latest Tab: Enable this option to show the Latest Tab on the Featured Area section.

Latest Tab Label: Enter the label for the Latest Tab.

Content Type: You can choose to display your site posts or recipes inside the Latest Tab.

Display: Choose to display either the latest published posts or the latest posts belonging to the selected category.

Number Of Posts: Select the total number of posts you want to display inside the Latest Tab.

Custom Tab #

Show Custom Tab: Enable this option to show the Custom Tab on the Featured Area section.

Custom Tab Label: Enter the label for the Custom Tab.

Content Type: You can choose to display your site posts or recipes or add your own custom content inside the Custom Tab.

Depending on the Content Type you choose, you can now click on the Add new button to select the posts or recipes or add the custom content you want to highlight inside the Custom Tab.

Recipe Index Section #

This section allows you to list the recipes sectioned by the categories on the site homepage.

Layouts: You can choose your preferred layout for the section here.

Carousel for more than 4 Posts: Enabling this option will display the recipes in a slider form when the recipe count for an added category is more than four.

Add Category for Listing: You can enter the section title, view more button label, select the recipe category and number of recipe posts to display via this setting. Here, you can also prioritize to display the recipes of a selected category based on the number of views or comments or the latest published date.

Search Section #

You can add and configure a search form section on the homepage via this setting. The site users can use the search form for navigating your website through their search query.

General Setting #

Section Subtitle: Enter the subtitle for the Search section here.

Section Title: Enter the Search section title here.

Choose Categories: You can select the categories that you want to display as tags on the Search section via this option.

Button Label: Enter the label for the Search section button.

Button Link: Enter the link for the Search section button.

Design Setting #

Background Color: Select a background color for the Search section.

Text Color: Select a color for the Search section text content.

Link Color: Choose a text color for the button.

Category Background Color: Choose a background color for the added category tags.

Category Section #

The Category section will arrange all the selected post/recipe category in a tab format and will display the list all the recipe posts belonging to each category.

Layouts: Choose your preferred layout for the Category section content.

Section Title: Enter the title for the Category section.

Section Description: Enter the description text for the Category section.

Display Categories from: Choose to display either the post category or the recipe category on the Category section.

Choose Categories: Choose the list of categories you want to place on the category tab.

Number Of Posts: Select the maximum number of posts you want to display for each category.

Tab Label Font Size: Select a font-size value for the tab label.

Call To Action Section #

Background Image: Select a background image for the CTA section.

Section Title: You can enter the section title here.

Section Description: You can enter the description text here.

Button Label: Enter the CTA button label.

Button Link: Enter the CTA button URL.

Open in new window: Enable this option to open the CTA button link in new tab.

Alignment: Select the container alignment for the CTA section content.

Sort Front Page Section #

You can disable the front page sections that you do want to hide and change the order of the existing sections of the homepage via this setting.

Here, you can simply click on the eye icon to enable/disable a specific homepage section.

Likewise, you can click on a section and drag the section up and down to arrange each homepage section placement as per your wish.

Single Post Setting #

You can access the Single Post settings via Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Posts and Pages > Single Post.

The following are the list of settings provided by the Yummy Bites Pro plugin for configuring the Single Post page on your website.

Social Share Posts #

Show Social Sharing: Enable or disable this option to show or hide the social sharing buttons on Single Posts.

Sticky Social Share: Enable this option to apply sticky effect to the social sharing buttons.

Enable Open Graph Meta Tags: Disable this option if you’re using Jetpack, Yoast or other plugin to maintain Open Graph meta tags.

Social Sharing Buttons: Here you can click on the eye icon to enable/disable the display of a social sharing icon and also drag and drop the existing social platform options to sort their order on your website’s post page.
