How to display Equipment in your recipe?

When you make a recipe, you use different types of equipment. The WP Delicious Pro plugin provides you an option to recommend equipment to your readers along with your affiliate link so that if they make a purchase via your link, you can earn the referred commission.

How to add Equipment? #

You can add as much equipment as you want. To add an equipment, go to Dashboard > WP Delicious > Equipment > Add New.

Please configure the following settings here:

  • Title: Add the title of the equipment.
  • Description: Provide a short description of the equipment.
  • Featured Image: Upload an image of the equipment.
  • Category: Add a category for the equipment. Make sure to enter the added category.
  • Equipment Image URL: Enter the URL of the featured image. After saving changes, it will appear in the Featured Image placeholder.
  • Button Label: Specify the label for the button.
  • Tag Label: Enter the tag label for the button.
  • Button Link: Provide the URL for the button link.
  • Add rel=’nofollow’ to link: Enable this option to Add rel=’nofollow’ to link.
  • Add rel=’sponsored’ to link: Enable this option to Add rel=’sponsored’ to link.
  • Sponsored Link: If the button link is a sponsored link, you can enable the rel="sponsored" option.
  • Open link in new window: Enable this option to Open link in a new window.

How to assign equipment to a recipe? #

Once you have added the equipment, you can display that equipment on your recipes. Just go to Admin Dashboard > Recipes > All Recipes. Click on the Recipe post to which you want to add the equipment or click on Add New if you are creating a new post. Under the Equipments tab, you can configure the following settings:

  • Section Title: Enter the title for this section.
  • Default Equipment: Select from the list of pre-created equipment.
  • Custom Equipment: To configure these settings, make sure to enable custom equipment in the equipment settings. You can also add custom equipment specific to this recipe, including equipment images and links directly from the page editor. The equipment you add will be applied only to that specific recipe and won’t be available for selection in other recipes.
