Import Recipes from WP Recipe Maker

If you have published your recipes using the WP Recipe Maker plugin, you can easily import all your recipes without any loss using the Delicious Recipes Import functionality.

Here’s the step-by-step guide to import your recipes.

At first, please make sure that you have installed and activated Delicious Recipes plugin on your website.

Navigate to WP Delicious Recipes > Import Recipes. Here, you will have the WP Recipe Maker import option as shown in the screenshot below.

We recommend taking a full backup of your site before proceeding with the import. Alternatively, you can also create a staging site and import the recipes.

After clicking on “Proceed to Next Step,” you will need to select the recipes you want to import.

In the “Recipe To Import” section, you will find a list of all the recipes. You can manually select the recipes you wish to import or use the “Select All” feature to import all your recipes, as shown below:

Additionally, there is an option to delete the recipes from the WP Recipe Maker plugin once they are imported into the Delicious plugin.

Under the Fields Mapping section, you have to map your existing Taxonomies as below:

After you select the recipes, click on the Proceed to Next button.

Depending on the number of recipes to import, it will take a couple of minutes to import your recipes.

After the import is successful, you will see the success message at the top like this:

Now, you can deactivate the WP Recipe Maker Plugin.

If you want to display your posts on the homepage, you can refer to this guide.
