By using the recipe blocks, you can display recipe details directly on a default WordPress post instead of a recipe post. To do so, you can use the Dynamic Recipe Card, Recipe Details, Recipe Ingredients, and Recipe Instructions block. Please follow the below Instructions to configure these blocks.
- Go to Admin Dashboard > Posts > Add New.
- Click on the Add a block button and add the Dynamic Recipe Card block
- Enter the title of the Recipe in the “Enter the title of your recipe” field.
- Upload the Recipe Image by clicking on the Media Library.
- You display details for the author, cooking method, cuisine, courses, recipe keys, you can enter the details to the Recipe Card SEO Settings on the right sidebar.
- Select the difficulty of the recipe and enter other details such as prep time, cook time, rest time, total time, servings, calories, and best season.
- Enter a short description of the recipe in the Description field.
- Enter the Ingredients of the recipe in the “Enter ingredient name” field.
- You can add more ingredients by clicking on the Add Ingredient button.
- You can also group the ingredients by clicking on the Add ingredient group.
- Enter the group title.
- Enter the Instructions of the recipe in the “Enter Instructions name”.
- You can add more ingredients by clicking on the Add Step button.
- You can also group the ingredients by clicking on the Add instructions group.
- Enter the group title.
- For the Recipe card Video, you can either upload a video or insert the URL of the video on the Recipe Card Video Settings on the right sidebar.
- Enter a note for the Recipe.
- Publish the changes.
The plugin also has the flexibility to add the Recipe Details, Recipe Ingredients, and Recipe Instructions blocks separately. For that, you will have to simply add the respective blocks and add the information for each of the blocks to add the recipes to your posts.
