WP Delicious v1.7.0 Updates

The new WP Delicious dashboard offers a clean and organized interface, providing easy access to all the essential settings for managing your recipe site.
On the left sidebar, key sections are clearly labeled, including:
- General Settings: Customize permalink structures and other essential settings.
- Recipe Settings: Manage recipe-specific configurations.
- Monetization: Options for integrating ads and other monetization features.
- User Engagement: Tools to enhance user interaction and engagement on your site.
- Miscellaneous: Additional options for fine-tuning your plugin experience.
- Performance: Controls to optimize site speed and plugin performance.
- Shortcodes: Access to various shortcodes for embedding recipe content seamlessly.
This design focuses on usability, making it easy for both beginners and experienced users to manage and customize their recipe websites without hassle. Each setting is thoughtfully categorized, ensuring quick navigation and a smooth experience for users looking to adjust or optimize their site’s appearance and performance.
In addition, we also added a search functionality to easily search for different settings.
Performance Optimization
In this update, we have made some significant progress to improve the overall performance score. The new optimized version will boost your speed score and help you rank your recipe better.
Few things we’ve done to achieve better performance includes:
- Added Lazy Loading for images to improve the loading of your images. This reduces the number of requests to load your web page faster.
- Replaced OwlCarousel library with Splide JS for improved carousel performance.
- Substituted the LightGallery and Magnific Popup libraries with fsLightbox for a more streamlined lightbox experience. This library is lightweight and load faster without compromising the feature.
- Replaced the rateYo rating library with a custom vanilla JavaScript solution.
