Multiple Best Seasons

We’ve enhanced our custom best season options based on user feedback. You can now support multiple season options for each recipe.


Other Enhancements and Fixes

In addition to the above major updates, we also worked on the some of the minor issues which includes:

  • Fixes: Corrected translation issue for best seasons.
  • Fixes: Ingredient quantity field now only accepts numbers.
  • Fixes: Resolved design issue with Post Navigation on Single Recipe page.
  • Fixes: Fixed CSS conflicts with other plugins and themes.

WP Delicious Pro v2.1.3 Updates

The Pro version includes some of the exciting updates that you have been waiting for. It addresses some of the major feature requests and enhances the Recipe Ratings feature.

In the latest version, you can easily integrate a free nutrition calculator API, Edamam, for calculating the nutritional value of your recipes. With this feature, there is no need for value entry of nutritional value. 

This integration automatically maps out different nutritional fields and populates the value. We also included the feature to exclude ingredients for calculation.

Enhanced Review Ratings

Enhanced Review Rating Feature in WP Delicious

Review ratings are crucial for search engine rankings and user engagement on your site. The new updates include features to make the ratings more impactful and engaging.

Your readers can now answer if they have made the recipes or not, would they recommend the recipe, as well as different tags while leaving a rating. In addition, the popup module for the ratings will make it easier for your readers to add a review quickly.

Other Enhancements and Fixes

In addition to the above major features, we also worked on some issues reported by our customers. It includes:

  • Enhancement: Added underlining to ingredient links on single recipe page for better distinction.
  • Fixes: Resolved an issue where disabling the Gravatar icon prevented the review page from opening.
  • Fixes: Fixed a toastr notification error related to AutoLink Ingredients feature.
  • Fixes: Removed unnecessary CSS to improve performance and reduce conflict and clutter
