WP Delicious v1.7.4 introduces global currency settings, improved image cropping, a “Scroll to Comment” feature, and key bug fixes for better performance and user experience.

Admins can now set a default currency globally for all recipes, overriding the individual currency setting in each recipe.

Global currency setting can be found in WP Delicious > Settings > Recipe Settings > Recipe Post.

2. Optimize Image Cropping

We’ve reduced the number of image crop sizes to 4, minimizing unnecessary image generation and improving overall performance.

3. Scroll to Comment

Previously available only in the pro version, this feature is now available in both free and pro versions.

How it works: Clicking the rating in the recipe header will scroll users to the comment section.

  • Carousel Mobile Responsiveness: Improved mobile responsiveness for carousels on template and single recipe pages.
  • Recipe Colors: Ensured that primary and secondary colors set in the plugin were applied across all relevant pages, including the Equipment page created with the [dr_recipe_equipments] shortcode.

What’s New in WP Delicious Pro v2.2.2

WP Delicious Pro v2.2.2 offers enhanced recipe submissions, mandatory license activation, improved schema handling, and key bug fixes for a better user experience.

1. Enhanced Recipe Submission

The Recipe Submission feature in WP Delicious Pro gets a major boost!

  • Now, admins have greater flexibility over recipe submissions with a fully revamped Customize Recipe Fields option.
  • This update moves field customization to a new page, allowing more control to enable or disable individual fields within sections and rearrange their order.
  • Each field now has a required checkbox option to ensure critical data isn’t skipped.
  • Plus, a live preview feature now reflects changes in real-time, making it simple to manage which fields appear on the front end.
