We’re excited to announce the release of WP Delicious v1.7.8 and WP Delicious Pro v2.2.5!
In this update, we’ve improved the recipe importer to let you import recipes from the Tasty Recipes and CSV files.
Additionally, we’ve brought in improvements and bug fixes to enhance your experience.
Let’s dive into the details.
What’s New in WP Delicious v1.7.8
1. Import Recipes from Tasty Recipes Plugin
With our latest update, we’ve introduced the ability to import recipes using the Tasty Recipes plugin.
Now, you can seamlessly switch from Tasty Recipes to WP Delicious.

Learn more on how you can import recipes from Tasty Recipes through our documentation.
2. Import Recipes from CSV Files
We’ve further improved the recipe importer to let you import your recipes using CSV files, a format similar to Excel sheets.

Check out our documentation for step-by-step instructions on how you can import recipes using CSV files.
What’s New in WP Delicious Pro 2.2.5
1. Disable Recipe Info in Headers
In our previous update, we added the recipe banner to let you change the look of your headers.
In this update, we’re giving you the option to enable or disable the recipe information from the banner.
Choose whether you want to display the difficulty level, cook time and servings in your banners or remove them for a minimalistic look.

To disable this feature, follow these steps:
- Navigate to WP Delicious Settings – > General Settings – > Customization.
- Scroll down and select the default banner layout for your recipe page.
- Toggle off Display Recipe Info under the Default Layout Settings section.
2. Support for AVIF Image Format
From the WP Delicious Pro 2.2.5 update, we’re giving you full support on .AVIF image format.
Using .AVF files ensure crisp, high-quality visuals with smaller sizes compared to JPEG and PNG image types.
3. List Ingredients Without Links
With this update, we have introduced a new tab that lists unlinked ingredients.

Now, you can conveniently link unlinked ingredients directly from the list without manually creating linked entries.
Once an unlinked ingredient is linked, it will automatically move to the linked ingredients list for streamlined organization.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed profile image updates not reflecting globally across WordPress.
- Resolved memory issues causing the Recipe Roundup block to crash with more than 10 recipes.
- Fixed JSON error preventing posts with recipe blocks from being saved.
- Resolved deprecated warning for PNG custom icons.
- Fixed plugin conflict causing a critical error when SureDash and WP Delicious plugins were both activated.
